What To Avoid When Eating Out



It can be extremely challenging to lose weight if you eat out on a regular basis. It’s simply too hard to watch your caloric intake.

Even worse, many people are under the false assumption that the alleged healthy menu’s are absolutely fine.

So here are 6 things to stay away from when eating out:

1. Non-lean meats: A perfect example here would be hot dogs or sausages. These types of processed meats have insane amounts of saturated fat, the type of fat that will clog your arteries and make it harder for you active tissues to absorb carbs.

2. Deep fried food: The problem with deep fried food is not only the fat content, but many times the oil used to fry the food can become rancid because of the high temperatures it’s exposed to. In the end, you are best served staying away from deep fried food.

3. Salads with endless condiments: Sometimes it’s the small things that really add up here. You see, when you add cheese, dressing, croutons and other toppings, the salad becomes extremely unhealthy. So always avoid piled up salads.



4. Massive loaves of bread: Eating a massive loaf of bread right before you begin your actual meal is not a good idea here. You see, the bread will not only digest very quickly, but it will also have many calories. So stay away from bread when eating out.

5. Eating the entire main course: Eating an entire main course can load your system with an entire days worth of calories. In fact, a great strategy here is to get half of your meal to go before you begin eating it. This will prevent you from eating excessive calories in one sitting.

6. Any type of liquid calories: Any time you drink calories, whether it be soda or juice, you are spiking your blood sugar and insulin. So do your best to stay away from any type of liquid calories and have water instead for the best results.

While eating out is not ideal for weight loss, it is possible to eat out while still losing weight. Just make sure you take action here!
